Stop by and meet researcher and author, Kathryn Fishman-Weaver. Dr. Fishman-Weaver’s work on neurordiverse populations is frequently cited as innovative, accessible, and engaging for both academic and general audiences. Last November (2019) she released When Your Child Learns Differently: A Family Approach for Navigating Special Education Services with Love and High Expectations. This book follows her first release, Wholehearted Teaching of Gifted Young Women: Cultivating Courage, Connection, and Self-Care in Schools (2018) which was a nominee for the National Association of Gifted Children’s book-of-the-year award. Dr. Fishman-Weaver will be signing and selling both titles in the BCH Atrium from 3:15pm-5:00pm.
